about me...

During my life journey through chronic body pain and many operationes, I found my way to art therapy. Creative expression has always been a natural part of my existence, and this red thread runs through my entire biography.

In 2018, I began my training at the Institute for Humanistic Art Therapy (IHK) in Zurich.

At the same time, I was employed for 4 years to 50% in an institute for physically and mentally handicapped people, where I completed my internship and led the art therapy workshop. At the end of 2022, I obtained the certificate in art therapy, specializing in painting and plastic art. Now, I am on my way to the higher federal examination.

As a Art-therapist, it is important for me to help people develop their creative potential. Through empathetic guidance, I encourage my clients to discover their inner resources. Creative exploration with colors, shapes, and materials can bring about positive changes and help to feel better.

With my positive outlook and a touch of humor, working intensively on theire own life becomes a little easier. While keeping in mind to help my clients achieve their goals.

I was born in 1977 in Locarno and grew up in a bilingual environment. I feel a dual belonging to two cultures. My "soul language" is Bärndütsch. I grew up in Lavertezzo in Valle Verzasca in a lively family business, which shaped my positive outlook and warm character. Experiences have taught me to take responsibility and get involved. But the whole thing wasn't always a piece of cake!

Diving in the Verzasca and being part of the diver rescue service confronted me early with death, which shaped my view of life.

As a florist, I was able to live out my passion for nature, creativity, art, languages, and interpersonal relationships.

I am a mother of an adult son and have been living with my partner for 21 years.
